TAG x AirAsia RedRun 2026: Ending Marathon Season Together

TAG x AirAsia RedRun 2026: Ending Marathon Season Together

After weeks of back-to-back race weekends, early alarms, long runs, and finish lines, the AirAsia RedRun 2026 brought the Tag community together for one more weekend of movement, this time with a slightly slower pace and a focus on simply enjoying the experience together.

With over 40 Tag members participating in the 5KM event, the morning carried a different kind of energy.

Some runners arrived chasing personal bests, while others came simply to move, connect, and celebrate the end of a huge season of races alongside the community that had shared it all together.

Preparing for the Weekend

The weekend began before race day itself.

On Saturday morning, the community gathered at Recharged Recovery for a shakeout session ahead of the run, combining movement, recovery, and connection in true Tag fashion.

One community member provided live DJ sets throughout the morning while runners recovered and prepared for the weekend ahead, while another led a yoga session to help everyone reset physically and mentally before race day.

Following multiple marathon weekends across Vietnam, the atmosphere felt lighter, less about pressure and more about appreciating the people and moments built throughout the season.

Running Through Da Nang Together

Race morning saw the Tag. crew once again filling the streets of Da Nang together.

The 5KM course offered a more relaxed and social experience compared to previous marathon events, allowing runners to soak in the atmosphere, support one another, and enjoy moving through the city as a team.

Even after months of training and racing, the community spirit remained just as strong.

Every finish line was met with cheers, photos, laughter, and the shared feeling of completing another chapter together.

Closing Out the Season

To celebrate the end of a huge run of marathon weekends, the community gathered post-race at Casa Bay along the coastline.

With ocean views, music, shared food, a few well-earned drinks, and DJ Brian carrying the atmosphere into the afternoon, the celebration became the perfect way to close out a memorable season together.

For Tag, weekends like this are a reminder that running has never only been about performance.

It’s about the friendships built during early mornings, the support shared between finish lines, and the community created somewhere between effort and celebration.

While marathon season may be slowing down for now, the movement continues.
