TAG x Da Nang International Marathon 2026: A Morning Powered by Community

Before the sun rose over Da Nang’s coastline, thousands of runners were already gathering along the city streets, united by movement, challenge, and the energy that only race day can bring.

As one of Vietnam’s biggest annual running events, the Da Nang International Marathon 2026 once again brought together athletes, first-time runners, local communities, and international visitors for a weekend built around connection through movement.

This year, Tag was proud to be part of it all.

More Than Just a Race Day

From the marathon expo through to race morning, the Tag community showed up in full force.

Throughout the event, we opened our Tag  booth to the wider running community,  showcasing our merchandise, connecting with runners from across the world, and offering free recovery sessions to support athletes after their races.

One of the highlights of the weekend was our Tag community board, where runners wrote down their names and predicted finish times before the race, returning afterwards to update their real results, celebrate achievements, and capture moments together.

It became more than just a board, it became a shared experience.

Running Together Before Sunrise

Race morning began long before the official start line.

At 4AM, over 60 Tag members gathered together in the dark for our community warm-up and stretch session, preparing mentally and physically for the challenge ahead.

From first-time half marathon runners to experienced marathon athletes, the energy throughout the group was undeniable.

The 21KM half marathon saw the biggest turnout from our community, while several members also took on the full 42KM marathon, pushing themselves through one of Vietnam’s scenic race routes alongside thousands of runners from around the globe.

As the city slowly woke up, the streets of Da Nang became filled with movement, support, and collective determination.

Where Effort Meets Celebration

Following the race, the community came together once again, this time to slow down, recover, and celebrate.

Our official Tag afterparty at the Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa brought runners together for an afternoon of music, beach views, recovery, and connection.

With DJs playing throughout the day, shared meals overlooking the coastline, and conversations reflecting on personal wins from the morning, the atmosphere captured everything the weekend represented: effort, balance, and community.

More Than a Marathon

For Tag, events like the Da Nang International Marathon have always represented something deeper than running itself.

They’re a reminder of what happens when people come together with a shared mindset, to challenge themselves, support one another, and experience movement as something meaningful.

From the 4AM meet-up to the final moments at the afterparty, this weekend was proof that the strongest part of any race isn’t the finish line, it’s the community beside you along the way.
